Events Coordinator

Location: Coombe Park Equestrian and Education Centre, Totnes

Salary: Starting from £27,612 (Salary Band F)

Contract: Fixed-term, 12 months Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility for weekends, evenings, and holidays

At The Mare and Foal Sanctuary, we’ve already designed an exciting events programme— now we need the right person to bring it to life! We’re looking for an Events Coordinator to take the reins, ensuring smooth and successful delivery of our visitor engagement events.

What You’ll Do:-

Deliver a well-structured events programme, from wellbeing retreats to equine workshops and corporate experiences.

Manage event logistics, ensuring a smooth and safe experience for all attendees.

Work closely with our marketing and communications team to maximise reach and engagement.

Recruit and coordinate volunteers to support event delivery.

Oversee budgets and performance to ensure cost-effective, impactful events.

 

What we’re looking for:-

Proven experience in event planning and execution.

Excellent organisational and communication skills.

A flexible approach – you’ll need to work some weekends and evenings.

A full UK driving licence (business mileage reimbursed). Knowledge of equine care is a bonus (training provided).
