What you will be doing

As the EAS Equine Support Lead, you’ll play a vital role in nurturing the human-equine connection, ensuring that our horses are well-prepared and cared for as they participate in equine-assisted services. You’ll also be instrumental in shaping our training pathway for staff, sharing your expertise and passion for equine welfare to help others develop their skills. Your keen eye for detail will ensure that all equine progress is accurately recorded, and that any needs or improvements for our sites and facilities are swiftly addressed. Ultimately, your work will uphold the high standards of care and compassion that define the Mare and Foal Sanctuary, enhancing the lives of horses and humans alike.

Organised and adaptable, you’ll thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same, managing your time effectively while staying responsive to the evolving needs of the equines and the programme. With your clear communication skills, you’ll foster strong relationships across teams, confidently sharing insights and collaborating to deliver the highest standards of care.

Your approachable and friendly nature will help you connect with a diverse range of individuals, from colleagues to participants, embodying the values of kindness, care, and knowledge in everything you do.
