Queenie is a very sweet, gentle mare. She enjoys a groom and will stand well when getting love and attention and is generally good to handle.

Queenie's Past
Queenie was part of a multi–agency welfare rescue in 2012. She was part of a prosecution case and spent time at the vets before her arrival with us, as she was underweight.

Rehoming Fee: £50
Queenie would be best suited to a small herd or with a retired companion who would never leave her as she does get separation anxiety and cannot be left on her own.
She could live out, but she would need to have her weight watched and have her grazing restricted to avoid obesity. She would also be happy if she was partly stabled, and she is respectful of electric fencing.
She would thrive in a one-to-one home with someone willing to build a bond with her, with a calm approach and consistency with her handling.
