Our events are a great way to visit and enjoy all The Mare and Foal Sanctuary has to offer. It’s a place of safety and acceptance for people as much as the horses and ponies we care for. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing unforgettable experiences together.
Horses and ponies thrive with Friends, Forage, and Freedom, the ‘3 Fs’. Our care is focused around providing these essential needs to ensure their wellbeing. Similarly, the NHS highlights key areas for human mental health, which we summarise as the ‘3 Cs’: Connection, Community, and Creativity.
Our wide range of events aim to link into these. They provide opportunities of connection with nature, our horses and our beautiful environment. They build community with people sharing common interests, who care about animal welfare. And they allow us to embrace our creativity and learn new skills. Most of our events blend these elements and we offer a variety of activities, so hopefully there’s something to inspire everyone.
